Food for Thought

The important thing is to find songs that speak to you.

True...There are times when I am feeling down and songs that I have written suddenly begin to play in my mind, which really help to lift up my mood.

Food for Thought

I had a sudden thought this morning. Happy memories will have a positive effect on the health of the cells in our bodies, thereby influencing our overall health. Conversely, unhappy memories will cause our cells to suffer, thereby adversely affecting our health. If my hypothesis is correct, then it is important for us to make a conscious effort to create happy memories by focusing on happy moments.

Food for Thought

Enforcing the same learning on all students, as some have mistakenly advocated on the basis of "standards," slows down the most capable students and leaves behind those already struggling, creates inappropriate limitations on what students can accomplish, and in effect, dumbs down teaching and learning.

I just read an article, which states that memories can actually be passed from one generation to the next. It's incredible!
