True...There are times when I am feeling down and songs that I have written suddenly begin to play in my mind, which really help to lift up my mood.

I have just composed this song. The lyrics are simple but I hope it has an uplifting effect on those who are brokenhearted. The melody is simple but I hope it has a soothing effect on those who are hurting.

You need to allow yourself to heal in order to move on in life...I believe that the first step to healing is to admit to yourself that you are hurting inside...You will keep yourself trapped if you continue to be in denial...Maybe the next song I will be writing will be a song of healing...Just thought of a title for the song: Healing Winds...

I played one of my own songs just now, which I composed years ago. The music sounded nice to me.:) When I first composed it, I didn't quite like it. Probably at that time, the perfectionist streak in me was still quite dominant, and that was why I didn't quite like it. Or maybe because at that time, I still had a lot of spiritual and emotional clutter, which made it difficult for me to appreciate my own musical talent.

I was tossing in bed trying to fall asleep but just couldn't sleep, so I decided to compose the music for this song, which I wrote a few years ago. As I was reflecting on the music for this song, it suddenly dawned on me that the music is a little different from my usual style. This piece is a bit more upbeat and I quite like it.:)

刚刚弹我在好几年前所创作的一首歌《被释放的心》的时候，突然间觉得这一、两年的作品似乎逊色许多。。。不管是在曲的方面，或是在词的方面，都有进步的空间。。。或许我应该去上一些跟音乐创作有关的课程，又或许我需要放长假，独自去旅行，好好充电、好好享受独处的平静。。。

While trying to make the music for 你就是我的幸福 sound better, I felt stuck. So I tried to change my usual music style and BANG, it brought about an instrumental piece. I like it! :)  Personally, I think it possesses a magical power to soothe a tired soul, and I believe that it could heal a broken heart too. I guess the music that I have been trying to compose for 你就是我的幸福 will be perfected when I finally meet The One. :O

Songwriting

Sometimes it can be difficult to find people who share the same passions/interests, especially passions/interests that are not quite common such as songwriting. I guess that was probably the reason why I was particularly drawn to the former client, whom I mentioned in my earlier post, when I first got to know her. Not many ordinary people are gifted in songwriting and so it's hard to find someone who shares a common passion/interest in this area. 真的是知音难寻。。。

前阵子，一位好友为我祷告，祈求上帝给我男朋友。我其实有很多仰慕者（不是自夸），只是我不敢去接受任何一个。我相信上帝是会赐给我一个真正值得让我付出的男朋友。我期盼他的出现。:) 刚才心血来潮，作了这首歌的部分副歌。 觉得好好听喔（不是自夸）。:O :O  幻想自己在很多人面前唱这首情歌给未来男朋友听。:)
