A Poem for a Dear Friend

Many people aren't saints.

Many have left footprints that are ugly stains.

But your footprints are treasures that I have gained.

Many people are thorns, causing me great pain.

But you are a rare jewel, for you are such a saint.

Dare to Dream

My Beloved Country's Birthday!

Yesterday (9th Aug) marked the 44th birthday of my beloved country, Singapore. 8.22pm was a historic moment in this tiny land, because we as a nation said our synchronised pledge. I am proud to be part of that special moment. :)



Below is a little poem I have penned:-

My beloved Singapore,

though tiny you may be,

but grand are your dreams.

I am so proud of you,

of what you have achieved,

though tiny you may be.
