最近在金钱上帮了一个人。。。一个以恶报恩的人。。。觉得帮得很不值得。。。I have zero tolerance for ingrates, especially those who repay my kindness with evil!!! 因为她，我有可能今年底不可以出国旅行了。。。:( 我并不是要她感激我。。。但是她就是不应该以恶报恩。。。那是做人最基本的原则。。。她又不是我的亲人, 也不是我的朋友, 所以我没有义务帮她。。。我最憎恨那些以恶报恩的人!!!

旅游

原本打算在六月底到台湾旅游、散心, 享受一个人的平静。。。但是现在想想，倒不如把旅游费省下来, 给一个很需要这笔钱的人。。。毕竟能帮到别人是一件很幸福的事。。。幸福其实可以很简单。。。施比受更为有福吧。。。希望十二月到缅甸旅游的计划能够实现，不会因为又碰到需要帮助的人而临时改变计划。。。

再过两个多礼拜，我就要去香港和澳门旅游了。虽然去过香港两次了，但是这次是我第一次去迪斯尼乐园。蛮期待的。:)

这些是我在云顶所拍的一些照片。。。我觉得云顶没什么好玩的，也没什么特别的。。。所以我应该不会再去了。

云顶高原之旅

前阵子去了云顶高原散心。。。是我第一次去到哪里。以前其实有想过要去，但是因为听过去哪里的旅游巴士常出意外，所以一直没去。我觉得哪里没什么特别的，所以再去的可能性很低。其实我这个人若喜欢上一个地方，就会去了又去，例如马来西亚的滨城。所以若我是旅游评论家，我一定会推荐滨城给旅客。虽然我对云顶高原之旅感到失望，但是我会推荐哪里的一个地方给读者，那就是Healing Touch 按摩中心。其实这个按摩中心跟一般的按摩中心没两样，但是哪里有所谓的鱼疗。什么是鱼疗呢？鱼疗基本上是用鱼去除死皮。所以，若你不怕痒的话，就可以考虑去做鱼疗，让鱼池里的小鱼儿帮你去除你脚上与脚底的死皮。:)

The pic below was taken in or near Divosoria, which is the Chinatown in Manila.

The pic below shows the entrance to Intramuros, which is one of the tourist attractions in Manila. My visit was untimely as I was not allowed to enter apparently because there were some construction works going on during the time of my visit.

This pic below was taken as the place reminded me of Hong Kong.

I stayed in this budget hotel during my Manila trip. I want to thank God for answering my prayers with regard to the hotel's location, the lighting in the hotel room, etc.

My trip to Manila was quite an eye-opening experience for me. I had expected Manila to be a modern city since it is the capital of the Philippines. So I was pretty shocked by what I saw.

I did not expect to have to queue up to purchase a ticket whenever I wanted to travel on the LRT or MRT. I did not expect the LRT and MRT to be overcrowded during off-peak hours. I did not expect to see pushing by commuters without due regard to the safety of other commuters. I did not expect the traffic in Manila to be such an eyesore. I did not expect Filipinos living in Manila to be unable to speak or comprehend English. (A lot of the trishaw riders, jeepney drivers & roadside stall owners did not seem to be able to speak or comprehend English.)

Something praiseworthy about Manila is that there are security officers stationed at the entrances of all shopping centres and LRT/MRT stations, to make sure that shoppers and commuters do not bring in anything deemed as dangerous.

I am looking forward to my Manila trip next week. :) This is the first time that I will be travelling 'that far' on my own.

On my first day there, I will be alone and that is good because I need to do some contemplation about my future. Being alone in a new land is refreshing and that may help to unclutter my mind, thereby allowing me to have a clear mind to think through what really matters to me.

On my second day there, I will be meeting a good friend. :) I thank God for such a friend. :) I pray that we will have a very blessed time together.

I hope to visit the Big Ben in London in 2 years' time. :) I really hope and pray that I'll have the $ to make this visit then. :)
