General Election (GE) 2015

I was reading someone's FB post on the GE yesterday. I agree with him that the PAP must remain in power to ensure Singapore's political stability, which is essential to attract foreign investments, etc. And it's of fundamental importance for the PAP to remain in power in the long run. However, I don't agree with him that having only 'one voice' in Parliament is good enough.

Punggol East By-Election

Hooray! The Workers' Party candidate, Ms Lee Li Lian has won. :)  Hopefully, this win for the Workers' Party will mark a new beginning for Singapore.

I would prefer to have more opposition voice in Parliament as I don't think it's wise to have one party dominating the political scene. Therefore, I would vote for the Workers' Party candidate if I were a resident in Punggol East ward.
