Food for Thought

I had a sudden thought this morning. Happy memories will have a positive effect on the health of the cells in our bodies, thereby influencing our overall health. Conversely, unhappy memories will cause our cells to suffer, thereby adversely affecting our health. If my hypothesis is correct, then it is important for us to make a conscious effort to create happy memories by focusing on happy moments.

Food for Thought

I just read an article, which states that memories can actually be passed from one generation to the next. It's incredible! Check out the article at http://www.collective-evolution.com/2015/11/12/researchers-discover-that-memories-can-be-passed-down-through-changes-in-our-dna/. (Joyce Chapman shared this link on FB)

Food for Thought

Open-plan offices have been found to reduce productivity and impair memory. They're associated with high staff turnover. They make people sick, hostile, unmotivated, and insecure.

Food for Thought

The journey toward healing has no destination; it is a state of acceptance, compassion, openness and willingness to be with our fears. The healing also depends on our ability to be open and accept what has happened to us even if it is unbearably painful.

It's Unbelievable

...the subconscious mind can process 20,000,000 bits of information per second while the conscious mind can only process 40 bits per second.
~ Dr Bruce Lipton (Quoted by Dr Menis Yousry in his book, Discover Your Hidden Memory & Find the Real You)

Cellular Memory (What's Your Body Telling You?)

"...a cellular memory. Our memories, habits, interests, and experiences are stored in all the cells of our body, not just in the brain. (Incidentally, this term was coined by pioneer biologists, Candace Pert and Bruce Liption.) These can be triggered into conscious memory  under certain circumstances."
~~Author Steve Sisgold

It's unbelievable that such information is stored in ALL the cells in our bodies.
