Authority

I despise people who abuse their authority, especially those who get their positions of authority through nepotism. I despise people who make use of their positions of authority to promote those who don't deserve to get promoted but nonetheless get promoted, because of their (sexually?) intimate relationship with the latter. Judgement is in store for the former. I am certain of that.

My Thoughts

Men generally are such scary creatures! They could be having flings or one-night stands with men and/or women although they are either married or attached. Some (or maybe many) could be legally married in another country rather than in their country of origin and so it might not be possible to really know for sure if they are married. Many of them (I believe) could be having flings or one-night stands overseas and many (I believe) have mistresses overseas. That is at least true in the case of Singaporean men. It's so scary, isn't it?! Why can't men just be contented with having a wife or a girlfriend? Is it because of their ego? Or is it because they are wired that way? Don't they have any conscience at all???!!!

Integrity

I pride myself on the fact that I am a person of integrity and so I feel very offended when someone questions my integrity (directly or indirectly). Yesterday afternoon, a colleague actually chose to trust what a client had said rather than trust what I had said, though I had told her repeatedly that it wasn't me...in the end, I was proven right. In my workplace, I am one of the few who have integrity (I am not boasting here) and so it was even more offensive that she chose not to believe my words.

What right do you have to question what I do when you are not even my boss? Why can't you just ask me directly though you have no right to question me? Why must you go to my boss? Please remember that you got promoted not because of your own capabilities but because of your unusual relationship with our big boss!
